Building Negotiations Underway

One of Rome’s top real estate companies is in negotiation with the developers of The Boulevard for the purchase of The Jackson Building, one member of The Boardwalk to be built between Braves Boulevard and Veterans Memorial Highway in front of State Mutual Stadium. Morgan and Pauline Ayers, Broker/Owners, are wanting to expand their operation and offer more services in commercial real estate, property management, and residential sales.

“The Boulevard is an exciting new development and would be a great place for our office” Ayers said about the negotiation. “We’ve been looking to expand and this location and concept would position us for even greater success in the future,” he stated.

Ayers and his wife opened Re/Max in October of 1998 and have seen rapid growth with offices now in Rome, Rockmart, and Cedartown. The Boardwalk construction will break ground in April of this year and completion is expected within a year. The Jackson Building, one of seven buildings named after the hills of Rome, will be approximately 6,000 square feet.
